    My daughter loves to read and as a former teacher I have a ton of Christmas books, so the primary way I teach her about the true meaning of Christmas is through literature. My favorite book to use is Mary’s First Christmas. It has become my daughter’s favorite too. We also have nativity sets throughout the house and an interactive advent calendar that tells the story of Jesus birth.

    My oldest is almost 6 so we’ve not yet made our own traditions for Christmas. We always spend it with my family or my husband’s. This year I’m wanting to try out the Jesse tree. My mom made a beautiful set of the symbolic ornaments from felt. 🙂 I’ve heard wonderful things about Truth in the Tinsel and would love to do that with my three oldest.
