Thankful Thursday: Smiles

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good;  His love endures forever.  Psalm 107:1

I told my husband the other day that ONE SMILE from one of our boys can erase TEN BAD DAYS.

I do believe it’s true.  I can be having a really cruddy day, and can have completely forgotten to ENJOY my work getting to take care of these sweet babies, and then one precious smile, and I’m reset as joy floods my soul.

What a gift, these little ones are.

Blessed and thankful to be their mama.

What are you thankful for this week?

  3. He’s so sweet.. I am also enjoying these new smiles from my little man, it’s makes for such better mornings when he’s there smiling away when we wake up..

  4. He is so sweet, just look at those chubby cheeks and legs! It makes me want to squeeze him if I could! Adorable!

  5. I’m thankful for a fun morning with the kids. We went to a park and hiked for an hour and a half…and then enjoyed a wonderful picnic lunch! Even more thankful the little ones stayed awake until we got home…and are now resting. Ahhh…

Sweet baby boy! Love the chunk! Soooo cute!

  6. When did he get so big?

  7. So precious! I am thankful for the last day of school today. My boys are incredible and I am so thankful!

  8. Toni Geisler says:

While I couldn’t have children of my own, I am thankful for being a live-in nanny to Kidlet. She lives with her widowed grandma, and was/is a handful. My family can’t get over how much she looks like one of my sister’s twins.
I am thankful for Sister/BIL and their girls treating Kidlet as if she was one of the family.
I am thankful that these same family members openly/lovingly have Mom , live with them. BIL treats Mom as one of the most precious people.
My hearts sings with joy when I see ‘families’ blessed with children–truely blessings from GOD.
