Strawberry Banana Bread

I’ve always loved banana nut bread.  And this is close, for sure, but with a special twist, of course, with the addition of fresh strawberries.

When I saw a recipe for this yummy bread, I just knew it was one I would have to give a try.  Of course, I modified it since I like to use whole wheat flour and sucanat when possible.

It is absolutely scrumptious!

  1. I suppose frozen strawberries won’t work. That’s all I have- about 30 lbs!!

  2. OK, I will try it sometime!

  3. Hi just wondering what sucanat was ? Thanks

Im sorry, but what is sucanat..i would really like to make the bread, but I haven’t heard of this.
    THANKS!

    • Sorry. Sucanat is natural cane sugar. It is less refined and has nutrients left in it. It is brown in color. I buy mine through Azure Standard. You can also buy it at Whole Foods.

  5. Would I have to add a little more flour if I ground it
    fresh?

  6. Yay! Thank you! So excited to try it. Now if I can just hide a few bananas to ripen before they disappear…
