This might smell good enough to eat, and you may even need to remind your children NOT to.  :)

The perfect playdough for this time of year!  Pull out your cookie cutters in the shapes of pumpkins, acorns, leaves, whatever else and make craft time something different and new!

What are some fall crafts and activities you enjoy with your children?

  1. Our boys always like to do leaf rubbing with crayons.
They will LOVE this playdough! I just need to go get some cheap white flour! ;)

    • Oh my goodness!!!! That’s funny you said that. I had gone to the store to pick up more food coloring for this project and thought to do just that! I bought a cheap bag of white flour to use for just playdough. I had even thought of mentioning that in my blog post and forgot. Thanks for the reminder!! I didn’t want to use my good, organic, unbleached flour that I use for bread and baking.

  2. We LOVE making playdough! Can’t wait to make THIS playdough! Thanks!

  3. We usually make our playdoh with Koolaid for the fun smell and color, but this one is right up Mom’s alley! Making it today. Thanks!

      • I’m replying from two years ago. : ) I lost my copy of this recipe and came back for a reprint. And there’s your reply! I live in North Texas (obviously from the Book Fair). Maybe we ARE neighbors?
