I know. The whipped cream looks a little deflated here. And there is a very special reason for that. You see, we have this one blonde-headed boy who plays soccer who LOVES whipped cream. Like…straight out of the can. I had bought the can several days prior to the day I was going to be needing it for these mocha fraps that we all love.
That was my first mistake. Over the past several days, on more than one occasion per day, I had to shew Hayden out of the refrigerator with the bottle turned up, sneaking a taste or two. (Don’t worry. If you come over, we won’t serve you our already-eaten-out-of food containers.)
Anyway, my second mistake was letting Hayden in on what I was up to when he entered the kitchen. “Whatcha makin’, Mom?” as he squirted almost the last bit of whipped cream into his happy face.
So there you have it folks, the accurate and real account of why this photo looks the way it does. I might replace it someday with another one, but I’m not sure. Hayden really likes his whipped cream.
For now, please enjoy a family favorite of ours, only second to the caramel frappuccino, that’s every bit as good as your local coffee shop’s version. This recipe makes one full pitcher, just perfect for sharing with the whole family.
