Well, how was your Thanksgiving break? We celebrated with the boys’ grandmother and GREAT grandmother this year, with thankful hearts.
inhaling enjoying a piece of pumpkin pie that Grandma made. Pretty sure he loved every morsel.
I had envisioned a cold, blustery Thanksgiving holiday, just right for a crackling fire, but uh….
Yeah. We live in Texas, and it was hot enough that the boys were outside in shorts and bare feet, playing in the dirt after our feast.
After I had WAY too much pie (I blame this amazing pie crust), I went around successfully snapping pictures of everyone with total compliance and zero complaining. I never even had to beg once for anyone to look at the camera.
There were absolutely NO antics.
Of course, Mr. Linky let me get a few good shots of him. We love our squishy little guy.
We’re so blessed to be Mom and Dad to our eight boys. I’ve been reminded a LOT lately, that yes – it is a lot of work, but it is always worth it.
Thanksgiving leftovers are gone, and we’re moving on toward the festive holiday season. I have some VERY exciting news to share, so stay tuned!
