If you’re a homeschooling mom and have ever thought you were the only one who ever struggled, this conference is for you. If you’re new to homeschooling and the thought of it feels too overwhelming, this conference is for you. If you’re a veteran homeschooling mom with graduates, this conference is for you. And if you have been homeschooling for a few years and you think you can’t go on much longer running this race, this conference is most definitely FOR YOU!
About the Conference
The conference is a two-day event that begins on Friday evening and continues all day Saturday. I was thrilled to get to ride with Connie and a few other homeschooling moms that I had the privilege of getting acquainted with. Once at the beautiful Embassy Suites in Norman, Oklahoma, we checked in at the Summit, then relaxed (yes…relaxed) and chatted and kicked our feet up and had dinner. Ah! And then, a beautiful evening of encouragement!
Between praise and worship, inspiring speakers, and just getting to be with other homeschooling moms who get it, I was already sold on coming next year before we even began the workshop sessions on Saturday.
There were break-out session choices ranging in topics from marriage to personality types. (Good job, Connie!) I personally would have loved to attend all of them.
What I Loved
- the way the Summit Team cared so much to make us feel welcomed, loved, and pampered
- Roxanne’s passionate heart for motivating moms
- the comedy – You’d have to see it to believe it, y’all!
- learning the difference between using a pitcher and using a sieve to pour into my children what God is pouring into me. Eh-hem. You have to go!
I’m Going Back!
The next Homeschool Moms’ Winter Summit is already being planned! And guess what!?! Yes! I am going! Not only that, but I can’t NOT join the team, so I’ll be speaking and working alongside Roxanne and all her energetic team members next year as we dare to inspire you to stay the course!
Be sure and follow the Homeschool Moms’ Winter Summit Facebook page for updates throughout the year.
