These are such a fun little treat!
So yummy AND nutritious, they can be served as breakfast, snack, or even dessert!
All you need is your favorite yogurt, favorite fruit, and maybe some local honey, to add a little sweetness.
Most often, I like to buy organic vanilla yogurt, just because it tastes so good, but I’ve been trying to buy plain Greek yogurt more. That’s where the honey comes in. It just takes a nice drizzle to off-set the tartness and tang from the yogurt.
We like to add a bit of homemade granola in the middle layer, and then again for a crunchy topping.
Experiment with your own combinations and find unique flavors that appeal to you and your family. Have the kids help assemble their own bowls for fun. Even our big guys enjoy customizing this dish to their own preferences.
Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits
- 2 cups of your favorite fruit, washed and cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 cups yogurt
- honey for drizzling
- granola for topping
Layer a bit of yogurt, then honey, then fruit, then granola, then repeat once or twice.
