I suppose the good folks at Finish got wind that I do a few dishes around here. And yes, for the record, I do two or three dishwasher loads every day. Please don’t hate me for not being super eco-friendly or anything. I can’t figure out what’s more eco-friendly, to be quite honest. Is it using paper plates to avoid using water, soap, and electricity while filling the landfills (or recycling), or vice versa? We sort of do a system of both around here. Dishwashing and using paper plates, that is.
But that dilemma is not what this blogpost is about. This post is about getting dirty dishes clean. You should hear the boys when they pull a dish out of the dishwasher that is supposed to be clean because the machine has “washed” them. (And yes, you should hear my response to their grumbling. They almost never rebut.)
I agreed to test Finish Quantum and post my review here. Sure, I was a bit skeptical at first, because, well, I’ve tried my fair share of different dishwashing detergents, even going so far as to make my own.
To participate, I agreed to cook our family dinner, then leave the dish overnight, completely UN-washed. I just knew it was going to be stuck on. Isn’t it always!?!
Here is the dish the next morning, after our stacked enchilada feast from the night before.
I know. Pretty gross. Greasy, stuck-on, baked-on enchilada sauce.
And here is the photo after running it through the dishwasher.
Yep. Pretty cool, huh?
I was pleased enough with the product samples they sent me that I went ahead and bought a big box of it when we did our grocery shopping at Costco this weekend.
