Creamy Jalapeno Ranch Dip

I was hooked at Chuy’s!  And since I can’t live at Chuy’s, I decided to see if I could come even close to their recipe, so that my taste buds can experience the deliciousness of this creamy, green, Ranchy, jalapenoey, cilantroey awesomeness.

Yes, it’s that good.

So anyway, back to (somewhat) normal human language.  The photo just doesn’t do it justice.  You have to taste it to believe it!

Here’s what I threw into a food processor and it turned out super yummy!

  2. We made it, and we love it!! You were telling the truth about the deliciousness of the awesomeness!! =))

  3. So glad your family enjoyed it, Tara! We finished ours off today over cheese enchiladas at lunch! 🙂

  4. Brandy,
Hi! I’m new to your site, and I just love it! I’m finding so many great recipes to try here, but when I started reading this one, it made my heart skip a beat!! We lived in San Antonio for 15 months last year and this year, and Chuy’s was one of our favorite restaurants. (I picked to go there for Mother’s Day last year, ha!) We miss it dearly (and all the wonderful Tex-Mex!) now that we’ve moved. I will try this for sure. Thank you so much, and I look forward to reading more of your wonderful, encouraging blog!

    Blessings, Kate

  5. I just wanted to say first that I too spend a lot of time wishing I could live at Chuy’s (alas I live in West by god Virginia) so I’ve been making a similar recipe to this for a couple of years, since I know you’re trying to go the healthy route I thought you may like it… basically do everything you do already, but instead of using bottled ranch use a packet of ranch seasoning and sub the amount of dressing with Greek yogurt, and whap it all in the blender… oh so good…

  6. I just found your website – looking at granola bars and somehow found this wonder. LOVE creamy jalapeno dip. My quesiton is – do you have a good home made ranch recipe that you like/use for this? I’ve been looking for one and have found a couple I like but never anything spectacular. Thanks. Can’t wait to explore your site further. I’m so happy I found it today. I was looking for some granola bars to take on vacation in a few days – long road trip. I’ll be making at least one variety today, maybe 2. Thanks for the great ideas.
