  2. I just made this – YUM!! I sprinkled a little cinnamon sugar blend on top before i baked them, turned out so good. Thanks for the recipe!

I finally had bananas left over to make these, they are yummy I however used all applesauce instead of the butter, not that we dislike butter but I almost always sub sauce for butter and oils in muffins and quick breads with good results.

  5. Thank you so much for this recipe! Most muffin recipes have milk (which my husband can’t have) so I was excited to find this.

I made them before church this morning and it was a great way to put a smile on their face!

    They are delicious!

  6. This recipe is fantastic. just made a batch. I used 1/4 whole wheat flour 2 cups of white whole wheat flour 1 tablesppon of chia seeds and some pecans… they are Amazing!!

  7. Trying to use sucanat instead of brown sugar but it doesn’t seem to be mixing well with the melted butter in my mixer. Has anyone also tried this or have any advice?

    • It should work the same in the end. But you could try letting the sucanat sit in the wet mixture for a while to help dissolve it a bit more. I do use sucanat quite a bit, and I think I’ve subbed it before in this recipe. Let me know how your muffins turn out! šŸ™‚

I made these muffins twice for my kids and they were a hit! So simple to make and I even let my kids help and they had a great time mixing. Great recipe!!!
