10 Uses for Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint

The other day, I heard myself say that if I had to choose only one essential oil to keep on hand, it would have to be Peppermint.  Although I can’t imagine living without Lavender or Thieves and countless others, Peppermint has proven to be helpful for so many things that I would pick this one.

Here are just ten out of many, many ways you can use Peppermint essential oil.

10 Uses for Peppermint Essential Oil

1.  Add two drops to brownie batter before baking for the perfect mint brownies!

2.  Apply one drop to each temple and massage to relieve tension.

3.  Diffuse for a festive, delicious scent in your home.

4.  Use with other essential oils for seasonal respiratory support.

5.  Diffuse to help concentration, mental focus, and motivation.

6.  Inhale from the bottle or diffuse to awaken and refresh.  Amazing!

7.  Add a drop to filtered water for a delicious, refreshing drink that helps curb appetite!

8.  Use with olive oil for a massage oil or to relieve sore, tense muscles.

9.  Put a drop in palm of hands, rub together, and inhale for respiratory support.

10.  Make a peppermint foot soak and ENJOY!

Thank you again! This is the only other essential oil I have besides the lavender I mentioned in your last post. I really appreciate you sharing this information. I would like to utilize the two as much as possible. I didn’t realize I could also us them when cooking. What do you use to diffuse the oils? Sorry if it seems like a simple question . . . but essential oil usage is a new area I am exploring.

    • Hi Tracey! I bought the Premium Starter Kit which comes with the diffuser, the Everday Oil Kit which contains ten bottles of oils, plus another bottle called Stress Away. It really is the best deal. It’s like getting 11 oils for $50, which would otherwise be impossible. I don’t know what I would do without my oils and diffuser lately! 🙂 You can become a wholesale member when you’re ready and take advantage of this deal. Have a great day!

  2. Can you use peppermint oil for morning sickness? I just ordered the kit and I think pregnancy is in our near future!

    • Hi Lauren,
Did you join through me? I don’t see you in my inbox…
But yes, peppermint is helpful for many things including headaches and nausea.

  3. I ordered through a friend, but I wasn’t sure if it was safe during first trimester. Thanks!:)
