10 Uses for Joy Essential Oil

10 Uses for Joy Essential Oil | TheMarathonMom.com

I sparkly heart Joy essential oil blend.  It makes me happy….er…I mean….Joy-ful.  🙂

I’ve always been very affected by smell, and let me tell you if there is one oil that smells so great it instantly helps change my mood, it’s this one!

I used to wear Lavender almost every day, but I’ve fallen in love with the sweet, vivacious scent of the amazing Joy essential oil blend.  Comprised of Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Rosewood, Lemon, Mandarin, Jasmine, Roman Chamomile, Palmarosa, and Rose oils, it’s a beautiful, delightful, and truly uplifting scent that I now wear every day on  my wrists and behind my ears.

This essential oil blend is known for promoting feelings of romance and togetherness, which is no surprise since it does contain Ylang Ylang.   🙂

Here are a few of the ways you can use Joy essential oil blend.

10 Uses for Joy Essential Oil

1.  Wear on wrists and behind ears for sweet, uplifting perfume every day.

2.  Add two drops to a cotton ball and place in vacuum filter to freshen air when vacuuming.

3.  Combine Joy with a small amount of carrier oil for refreshing, rejuvenating massage oil.

4.  Diffuse to lighten the mood.  *This truly works!  If I’m having a rough day, I can diffuse Joy and the aroma helps me reset.

5.  Add a few drops to bath water for a fragrant bath.

6.  Place a few drops on a clean, wet cloth and throw in the dryer with laundry for freshly scented clothes!

7.  Use when experiencing grief, loss, or depression for emotional support.

8.  Apply a drop or two over heart to reduce anxiety and promote emotional stability.

9.  Place a drop or two on your cloth purse handle or straps or the inner lining to scent your purse.

    Never tried it before

  2. Hi Brandy,

First this is totally unrelated to this post but I subscribed this week to your emails and yesterday I made homemade granola bars for the first time ever! I used natural PB instead of almond butter and dried cranberries instead of dried cherries. They are delicious! I think I might cut down on the honey because they were a bit too sweet but they will not go to waste 🙂

Now on to the essential oils. I have never used them ever but I am interested in trying them. I appreciate these posts very much. My friend said one drop of pepermint oil on the tongue is equivalent to many cups of peppermint tea. That is amazing. Is there a kit to buy that contains a few oils and a diffuser? Thanks for any help you can offer!!

Have a beautiful weekend! Love the blog.

    • Thanks, Janet! Hooray! You like the granola bar book! So glad. Ya know, one of my favorite things about granola bar recipes is the adaptability of them! You’re right, you can do what you want to them and get them just how you like them! 🙂

About a kit that comes with a diffuser and oils – YES! The Premium Starter Kit is most definitely the best way to go! With 11 oils and the diffuser, plus Ningxia Red and other samples, you can’t go wrong! You can join as a wholesale member and order that here: https://www.youngliving.com/signup/?sponsorid=1585065&enrollerid=1585065 And once you’re a member, you get 24% off!

Yes, peppermint is an amazing oil. I use it almost every day! It does come in the Premium Kit that I mentioned above, as well as many of my other favorites like Lemon and Lavender and Joy.

Let me know if you need any help!
      Brandy
